Joan García

Joan is Managing Partner at Colliers International. He was a founding partner of irea from 2002  and in March  2018 he joined Colliers International. He has extensive knowledge of the residential development market and the Spanish real estate market. He specialises in mortgage loan portfolio transactions, in restructuring bank debt and real estate company mergers and acquisitions.

Joan began his career at Arthur Andersen Barcelona.

Notable projects on which he has worked include advising on corporate deals involving Arocasa, Aranco, Lusort, Sanyres, Riofisa and Agofer, restructuring financial debt worth more than €10,000 million and advising several international funds and Sareb on multiple sale and purchase transactions of real estate debt portfolios (NPLs) and REOs.

He has recently provided advisory services to Vía Célere in the sale of the company to Värde Partners fund (90 million euros).
