Australia’s Self-Storage sector has considerably evolved over the last 10 years. As a consequence, we have developed the Colliers International Rating System (CIRS). Using the CIRS, we break down self-storage facilities into four separate categories being A Class through to D class.
Using the CIRS creates a simple, but comprehensive view of a self-storage facility and allows a proper understanding of how it should perform in the market. The CIRS elevates industry understanding by:
- Ranking facilities on both physical characteristics and performance;
- Provides potential financiers a more accurate analysis of likely performance; and
- Allows investors to easily compare the market and identify top tier opportunities.
