Colliers International appointed to sell corner site in Canning Bridge Activity Centre
The 2,227sqm property is on the corner of First Avenue and Kishorn Road and is inside the boundaries of the master plan that will guide the development of Canning Bridge’s public realm.
Selling agents Henry Vu and Tory Packer said there would be strong interest in the sale because the property’s size and frontage to two roads made it an opportunity for a grand scale development in one of Perth’s most desirable suburbs.
“The 15-storey potential of this site will allow for view corridors to the city and river from a site that also enjoys a setback from busy Canning Highway,” Ms Packer said.
“The holding income from the townhouses will be an extra incentive to developers with a medium-term outlook.”
“Residential developers wanting to secure land in a precinct earmarked for higher density and close to public transport to the city, Fremantle and stations on the Mandurah train line will be among the potential buyers for this site,” Mr Vu said.
The property is in the Canning Bridge Activity Centre Plan which is steering residential, community, office, retail and entertainment uses on land around Canning Bridge, which is 8km from the CBD and the meeting point for the Swan and Canning rivers.
It is also in the activity centre’s Kintail Quarter which has been earmarked as the area’s main retail and employment hub.
