Stacey Quaid

As Managing Director of Colliers in Cairns, I am a property industry specialist who has actively been involved with the industry since 1987. Having worked in such a relatively small market I have developed broad experience in all facets of the industry, including sales and leasing in commercial, industrial, property management, residential, rural and project sales.

Being born in North Queensland and with a family history in property in the region, I have developed a strong knowledge of properties and people throughout the area from Townsville north, including  Cape York and the Torres Strait Islands. Things don’t always work the same in cities as they do in the more “country areas” and it is this local knowledge that brings value to transactions. 

Much of my career has involved working out strategies on challenging property situations, including Receiverships, Mortgagee and local Government Sales. As a Licensed Auctioneer of both property and plant & equipment, I have been fortunate enough to conduct Auctions and consultancies in varied locations and situations including the Northern Territory, South Australia, PNG and Indonesia, as well as the South Island of New Zealand.  

I have a broad record of accomplishments across many property sectors and have had the privilege to have handled some of the major sales campaigns in the region for over more than two decades.

Starting for the late eighties, some for the major portfolio sales I have been responsible for have included the Emanuele Group – Development & Land Bank Sites, Rankin Brothers – sawmilling interests, residential and rural properties, development sites; Capital Globe – Subdivision, residential lots and a multi-million dollar residence. CEC Group – Broad acreage land banks, development sites, subdivisions, industrial sites; Glenwood Homes – Commercial properties and homes; Williams Corporation – Land Bank Sites; H&S Vision – Paradise Palms Golf Course, development sites, apartments…to name a few.
