Having worked in the property industry for over 20 years, starting off as receptionist, sales support, office manager, property manager, strata Manager and then managed the office administration team (of 10 staff) for Strata Associates.

For the last 12 years I have been working in the Telecommunications Industry (Property) having managed the Optus lease administration team for 4 years (over 7000 leases Nationally and managing a team of 16) our team were responsible for the lease rental payments and any other associate lease payment, in addition to preparing budgets for the executive Board. I then moved into a Role with Optus Network, which was rolling out the Optus broadband Network for 3 years.

My current role is Associate Director of the Vodafone Leasing Team, which is responsible for lease management of the Vodafone Portfolio, with over 8000 leases Nationally. This roles requires my team to meet savings KPI's and deliver exceptional services to the Client. We are responsible for looking after all the renewals, options and market reviews, we a requirement to reduce rental and extend tenure, to secure their National 5G role out.

I have been quite successful in this area and have accomplished some great results in some cases up to 70% reductions in rentals. My team has an average savings of around 32%.

This site has been in dispute with an impossible lessor since 2014. Whilst there is no rent saving, Heidi has been able to close this matter after a long and painful negotiation. It means we can finally upgrade this site to 5G and its in the middle of Adelaide CBD – an important one for us!

Showgrounds 2038

This site has been on holdover since 2016 and is sitting at 19 in our Top 30 most expensive sites.

Heidi has  miraculously renegotiated the rent from $111k @ 7% to $35k @ 5% which is amazing – a 68% reduction!

There are many others that are also very very good. This work is outstanding and we are grateful for her efforts.

Just wanted to drop you a line with another good news story.

Carlingford has been on Vodafone’s hit list for a long long time, being one of our highest rental sites at $160,000 per annum.

Numerous parties have tried to negotiate this down for the past, I think 8 (EIGHT!) years we have been in holdover, to no avail.

Heidi has just confirmed that new leases were signed earlier this month with the rent reset at $60,000 per annum which is a massive saving and a job well done.
