Mr. Cole joined the Colliers International Urban Brokerage team in 2018. He has spent 30 years working in the industry, focusing on companies within the life science, pharmaceutical, biomanufacturing and technology industries.  His practice involves creating effective real estate solutions for his clients, locally and globally, and landlord representation for primarily office and industrial properties.

Joe joined Colliers International in 2012 to lead and grow Colliers’ Office Brokerage Division.  Today he focuses on providing strategic solutions to local and national Health Care and Life Science clients. Joe’s background in architecture, real estate development and financial analysis provides clients with an experienced professional and strategic leader who integrates  complex factors to create successful results for clients.

Joe is a Healthcare Fellow and serves on the Colliers Life Sciences Practice Group Steering Committee. He is the host of Colliers Philadelphia’s weekly LabNotes digital newsletter, featuring conversations with innovators shaping the Philadelphia Life Sciences Cluster.

Charlie has more than 29 years of experience in commercial real estate and related fields including office construction estimating, project management, architecture, office development and real estate advisory for both owners and occupiers.  Charlie has worked with a broad range of clients/tenants including Merrill Lynch, Integra LifeSciences, Deutsche Bank AG, BASF, Biomet, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR), KKR/Capstone, John Wiley and Sons, Maher Terminals, AIG, Marsh & McLennan, Mobil, Sprint, Siemens, AON, Fidelity Investments, Lehman Brothers, PNC Bank, Prudential, Sanofi-Aventis, Coca-Cola and Aetna/US Healthcare, Celgene, Celularity, Cellectis. Additionally, he has represented institutional ownership in the disposition and acquisition of land, buildings, build-to-suits and large-scale lease transactions.  He is on the global steerng committee for Colliers robust life sciences  practice group.

Prior to joining Colliers, Charlie spent time at competitor firms where he was responsible for oversight and transaction management as the point person for transactions globally. He also oversaw an 8.5 million-square-foot, Class A office portfolio in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania for SJP Properties.

David Burden leads Occupier Services Chicago Area, a team that provides transaction and corporate advisory real estate services from Chicago across NA and the world.  David advises clients locally and accounts globally for space requirements in office, lab, industrial, retail, hospitality and specialty uses.  His experience stems from thousands of lease and sale transactions ranging from small offices to headquarters, restaurants, land and distribution spaces to manufacturing.  

David is currently the director of the firm's Life Sciences Practice Group, working closely with biotech companies.  He is also a founding member of the Tenant Advisory Council (fka Occupier Services Group) consisting of the firm's Top 100 "Tenant Rep" brokers who colloborate on multi-city assignments globally.  His hospitality, food company and financial services clients also hve given him the opportunity to develop expertise in Retail Services Group and as member of the Food & Beverage Practice Group.  He and his team of transaction management professionals take a comprehensive approach to be a one-stop point of contact for account management, lease administration, workplace strategy, labor analytics, capital markets, project management, demographics and incentives procurement services. 

Prior to joining Colliers in 2008, he worked in similar corporate services capacities at CBRE and C&W.  Earlier in his career, David worked on Capitol Hill in economic development roles before pursuing his MBA while working as a site selection consultant at Arthur Andersen LLP.  

David and wife Kristy met at the University of Illinois, married in 2001, and are blessed with three sons.

Jack Blumenfeld is an Associate specializing in Class A Office/ Flex/Life Science tenant representation and investments in the UTC San Diego office of Colliers International. Jack works to create value for his clients through an understanding of the local as well as global commercial real estate market.  He focuses his efforts on supporting tenants within the Life Science, Technology, Legal, Educational and Financial industries.  Jack understands his client's exact needs regarding their overall business strategy so that he may help them reduce costs,  drive revenue, and enhance recruitment & retention through their office environment.  He is currently assisting in multiple transactions in the majority of San Diego County markets as well as around the United States. 

My primary focus is the Class A submarkets: UTC, Downtown CBD, Carmel Valley, Sorrento Mesa, Sorrento Valley, Del Mar, Torrey Pines, Solana Beach, Carlsbad, Kearny Mesa, and  Mission Valley.  OSSD specializes in local, regional and national office and industrial tenants around the Globe.  

A 14-year professional in the Life Science industry, Michael Anderstrom represents clients the sale or leasing of lab, cleanroom manufacturing, and flex space. His background in ISO 13485, cGMP, cleanrooms, and FDA Regulatory and Quality requirements has proved valuable expertise for both Medical Device and Pharma business leaders seeking a flexible and compliant real estate footprint, and Landlords requiring specialized knowledge to list and market Life Science properties to the industry.

Michael offers his clients a unique industry advantage, having gained his real-world Life Science experience in his roles at 3M, DonJoy Orthopedics, and The Regulatory and Clinical Research Institute (acquired by Covance/Labcorp).

Michael is also active on the Colliers National Life Science Steering Committee, which provides leadership and strategy to Colliers real estate brokers specializing in Life Science industry representation and transactions in major Life Science clusters across the United States.
