On behalf of Domis, we have acted as agent in the sale of a 11,000 sq m flat project in ‘Risskov Brynet’ – a residential area under construction in a former industrial area in the Aarhus suburb ‘Risskov’. Upon completion, the current project will comprise 186 flats – 87 of these will be ready as soon as April 2019.
The development of the project began five years ago, and according to Colliers, it was just right to concentrate on a residential project:
“Aarhus is a very attractive city, and even though a lot of projects are under construction right now, the market has not yet reached saturation point. In 2018, more than 5,000 people moved to Aarhus, and according to the latest projections, the population in Aarhus will grow by 30,000 over the next 10 years,” states Carsten Gørtz Petersen, and amplifies:
“Rent prices are a cut lower in Risskov than in the city centre of Aarhus. However, the location is still attractive, as you are within cycling distance of the city and the university. Therefore, there is a high letting security – not least because of the many students, who live in the city”.
