Michael Davidson is a Senior Advisor with Colliers Occupier Services, focused on Global Client Engagement and delivering an experience that integrates thoughtfully innovative strategies and solutions across all service disciplines, innovations & geographies.
Michael led the global workplace, transformation and people strategy for JPMorgan Chase as a Managing Director from 2010 to 2022, encompassing a ~200k Workforce, 500 Locations, 45 Million square feet and $2.7 Billion Annual Operating Plan. Michael’s career spans thirty-two years with prior leadership roles at Morgan Stanley and Bank of America, both of which were global and include expatriate assignments in London and Tokyo.
Delivering on the vision for established and emerging businesses, the focus of Michael’s work involves understanding the core values and emerging requirements of the enterprise, aligning people, technology and workplace strategies and developing a seamless plan to support the evolution from conception, launch to long-term fruition of financial, organizational and market-driven goals.
Strategic and financial planning, scaling organizations, developing high-performance processes, overall execution and establishing a strong diverse working culture are the domain of Michael’s experience to drive revenue, attract and retain talent to drive the efficient integration between HR, Technology, Real Estate, Finance, Compliance and Communications.
In 2012, Michael completed The TRIUM Global Executive MBA Program and earned a degree conferred by the NYU Stern School of Business, London School of Economics & Political Science and École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Paris (HEC School of Management, Paris). Michael was nominated as the class-leader by his fellow students, a diverse and accomplished international cohort.
In 1994, Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Fordham University with a Dual Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Philosophy.
Michael was honored with the award for Ethics at the Fordham commencement in 1994 and for Living the Values by Morgan Stanley in 2004 while based in London. Michael was the CoreNet Global CRE Executive of the Year in 2019 & NYC CRE Executive of the Year in 2014 & 2019.
Michael has traveled to fifty countries, completed thirty-five marathons across all seven continents, fundraised for a range of charitable causes, is an avid wildlife photographer, documentary filmmaker and based in New York City.
