Colliers Facilitates Multiple Transactions Valued Over $1.9 Million

Colliers International Virginia, LLC (“Colliers”) announced it has successfully secured four new deals and two renewals this past week. The transactions combined for a total of 28,456 square feet and are valued at $1,974,642.00.

The new deals included:

  • HCA Health Services of VA Inc. signed a 1,740 square foot medical lease at 7603 Forest Ave. Barry Hofheimer, Wood Thornton, and Megan Sullivan represented the landlord
  • Buff City Soap leased 2,000 square feet of retail space at 3911 Wards Rd in Lynchburg. Robby Brownfield, Rob Black, and Chris Doyle represented the landlord
  • Lumber Liquidators Inc signed a 6,426 square foot retail lease at 171 N. McDowell Blvd in Petaluma, Ca. Hamilton Shaheen, Peter Vick, Harrison Hall, and David Wilkins represented the tenant
  • CR3 Partners LLC signed a new office lease at 7729 Forest Ave. Zach Roski and Tom Vozenilek represented the tenant

Renewals consisted of:

  • Party City Corp renewed its 10,000 square foot retail lease at 3700 Candlers Mountain Road in Lynchburg. Robby Brownfield, Rob Black, and Chris Doyle represented the landlord
  • Lumber Liquidators Inc renewed its 6,000 square foot lease at 170 S. Lycoming Mall Road in Muncy, Pa. Hamilton Shaheen, Peter Vick, Harrison Hall, and David Wilkins represented the tenant.

Rob Black

Mr. Black has over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry as a manager and broker. He primarily focuses on Tenant representation and site sourcing. Chris Doyle

Chris Doyle has over 33 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, the last 25 as an Associate broker.  His primary area of expertise is site selection for local, regional and national retailers and developers as well as implementing all aspects of retail shopping center development.  During Chris' 33 years in the industry, he has consummated over $400 million in sales and leases.  

Chris has involved himself in the brokerage, leasing and/or development of over 40 shopping centers from Virginia to Florida.  Previously, he was Vice President for the Richmond office of Trout, Segall and Doyle from 1993 to 1996.

Peter Vick

As Senior Vice President and Co-Director of the Retail Services Team, Peter Vick specializes in site selection, tenant and landlord representation, land sales and investment sales.

Peter has handled project leasing for existing and ground-up developments. Recent signature assignments include West Broad Village, The Row at GreenGate, Libbie Mill Midtown, and Winterfield Crossing, all mixed-use projects located in Richmond, VA. He has handled the disposition of numerous commercial investment sales that include grocery anchored shopping centers as well as single tenant NNN sales. Working with numerous local and national retailers, Peter has been involved in the leasing of over three million square feet of commercial space and the disposition/acquisition of over $300M in sales.

Peter is responsible for the leasing of a portfolio consisting of four million square feet of retail space throughout Virginia for clients that include, Sauers Properties, Site Centers, Markel Eagle, Rebkee Properties, Gumenick Properties, Blackwood Development, Spy Rock Real Estate Group, Sugar Oak Properties, Riverstone Properties, Colterra Capital, Pruitt Companies, Frontier Development, W.S. Carnes, Premier Companies and numerous other local, Regional and National Landlords and Developers. Additionally, Peter is part of the Colliers team that overseas the National retail expansion of LL Flooring (Lumber Liquidators).  

Prior to joining Colliers, Peter was Senior Vice President of Retail Sales and Leasing at Divaris Real Estate in Richmond, VA. Harrison Hall

Zachary Roski

Zach Roski is a Senior Vice President,  Principal of the Colliers | Virginia Mid-South offices and an  advisory and transaction specialist. His primary focus is the representation of tenants in the acquisition of office space. In this role he provides corporate real estate services, site selection surveys and analyses. 

Zach is a 24 year veteran of the industry and has a history representing multi-market accounts/tenants across the United States. Upon graduation from Virginia Commonwealth University, he joined the country’s second largest real estate investment trust, United Dominion Realty Trust, where he worked primarily in multi-family property/asset management. 

From 2003 to early 2014, Zach was a member of the team working on the Commonwealth of Virginia’s real estate portfolio. As a part of the team, he assisted with office and warehouse acquisitions, consolidations, dispositions, strategic planning and implementation. The team completed more than 70 transactions annually and achieved over $80 million in savings for the Commonwealth through lease negotiations.

Thomas Vozenilek

Tom Vozenilek joined the firm 2001 with 23 years of commercial sales and leasing experience. Tom's principal activity for the last 30 years has been Transaction Management. He was part of the original team at Virginia Landmark that started Tenant/Buyer Representation in the Central Virginia Market in 1986. Tom’s clients have included state agencies, universities, Fortune 500 corporations and a variety of regional and local firms.
