Having started his career as a Registered Valuer, Shane entered the real estate profession in 1993 with iconic Stock & Station company Pyne Gould Guinness Ltd. During this time Shane was involved in the sale of some of Canterbury's iconic farm properties becoming Company Real Estate Manager in 1998.
In 2002 Shane was a key driver in establishing Bayleys Real Estate as a major force in the Canterbury market becoming Managing Director and shareholder in the franchise in 2005.
After 11 years with Bayleys, Shane formed Northington AgriCapital Ltd a specialist rural Investment Bank before establishing Colliers first NZ Rural franchise in October 2014.
Richard brings to Colliers Rural and Agribusiness a strong agribusiness advisory background and a quality network of relationships in the sector. The 23 years of experience in rural finance, dairy operations, property development and farm sales/syndications ensures a comprehensive understanding of the complex issues involved with pastoral farming and agribusiness.
With a reputation for providing informed and sound judgement and delivering results, Richard is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for his client. The completion of recent dairy, grazing, horticulture and sheep and beef farm sales in the region complement the above skills with market and buyer knowledge to deliver the best advice to clients.
Jonny joins the Colliers Rural and Agribusiness team with a wealth of farming knowledge and expertise. He has been farming in equity partnerships for the past 10 years. The first seven years was a 7,500 stock unit sheep and beef property near Clinton, South Otago. Jonny and Tracy still own a financial interest in this property. The last three years farming was at Ikawai, South Canterbury, on a large scale dairy farm.
This experience gives Jonny a solid platform when it comes to understanding what is required to run a successful farm business. He has experience in management, compliance, governance, strategy, finance and working with key professionals.
Since joining the industry nine years ago Mick has firmly established himself in the Canterbury real estate market.
Mick brings with him over 30 years’ experience in the rural and lifestyle sectors in both sales and marketing. This experience helped develop Micks strong negotiation skills. Coming from a farming background in North Canterbury, his experience includes being a successful stock agent plus managing and growing his own farming operation.
