About Me
Jonny joins the Colliers Rural and Agribusiness team with a wealth of farming knowledge and expertise. He has been farming in equity partnerships for the past 10 years. The first seven years was a 7,500 stock unit sheep and beef property near Clinton, South Otago. Jonny and Tracy still own a financial interest in this property. The last three years farming was at Ikawai, South Canterbury, on a large scale dairy farm.
This experience gives Jonny a solid platform when it comes to understanding what is required to run a successful farm business. He has experience in management, compliance, governance, strategy, finance and working with key professionals.
Jonny graduated Lincoln University with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in farm management and rural valuation. This was followed with three years as a fertiliser representative before progressing into rural finance where Jonny spent 6 years working with clients to help them progress their rural businesses.
