I have over 23 years' experience in the China real estate market, working in both developers, occupiers and brokerage sides. I have worked in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijng, Shenyang, Chengdu and Xi'an. My expertise includes site selection, acquisition, disposition and portfolio strategy for occupiers, as well as development consulting, portfolio strategy, investment, project lease and sales for developers and investors. Because of my diversed experience in the industry, I have indepth knowledge in real estate policy and market dynamics in the China market, providing real insight and value to my clients.
I started my career in residential and retail brokerage. Then start focusng on Industrial properties since 2006. In 2017, I was responsible for Colliers' West China business, covering Chengdu, Xi'an and Chongqing. In 2019, I was promoted as the Managing Director of China for Colliers, responsible for the full scope of businesses all over China.
Richard joined Colliers in 2018 as the Managing Director of East China. By expanding the service coverage, he built the platform of East China, the new platform covers the full service chain of government relations integration, resource acquisition, planning, government policy collaboration, marketing strategy, operational services, intermediary agents, clients service and asset management. He leads the team to provide clients with comprehensive solutions.
Alvin Joined Colliers as the Managing Director of Shenzhen in 2020 leading full scale services from advisory, leasing to investment sales across all sectors in office, service apartments and industrial properties. Previously he worked at Shenzhen Qianhai Financial Holding to facilitate modernization services, including early-stage development and investment of major projects in Shenzhen and in vicinity of Shenzhen. Since 2015, he was the Vice General Manager of the Jinzheng Qianhai Finance Technology, a company invested by Qianhai government. Prior to this position, Alvin worked for Huawei in America responsible for business development.
Alan Fung has joined Colliers International as Managing Director for Office Service South China. Alan is a seasoned real estate veteran, with more than 28 years’ experience in leasing, advisory and transaction services. Over his career, Alan has been responsible for providing professional services to numerous large scale projects in Hong Kong and Southern China, as well as helping domestic and multinational corporations address their property and investment needs.
KG had been working in the commercial real estate field for over 15 years with rich experience from well-known local as well as foreign owned developers and real estate consulting agencies. Before join Colliers, KG worked as the General Manager of a famous Real Estate Commercial Company. During his tenure, he led his subordinate office building projects to win a variety of awards and honorary titles and attract a number of world top 500 enterprises to settle in for the project.
Advisory Services Leaders
Irwin Liu is Head of Department director with Colliers’ Development East CHina Advisory Team. By working closely with developers, investors, corporations and governments, He provided them with sound strategies and solutions in real estate issues. Services include designing development strategies (regeneration and master-planning, repositioning vacant or under-utilized properties, strategic marketing, etc), strengthening corporate real estate’s contribution (aligning real estate with corporate objectives, positioning real estate in accommodate changes in business needs, etc.) and offering solutions for clients. The recommendations are as practical as they are strategic.
As a core member of strategic advisory team, Robin acquires knowledge of business park and office market in first-tier and some essential second-tier cities. The remarkable performance of Robin in the past 6 years includes strategic advisory service for Novartis and Bao Steel, and market research, investment consultancy and project positioning service for Ascendas Singbridge, EBA, Warburg Pincus, Vanke and some other funds and developers, as well as regional developing plans for local governments in Shanghai, Zhejiang and Chengdu.
Mr. He Yong graduated from Sichuan University majoring in tourism management. He has rich experience in tourism project planning and real estate industry planning. In the early stage, he participated in the planning and planning of a number of domestic tourism scenic spot projects. In the later stage, he joined the head of Savills consulting department, mainly responsible for the work of strategic consultants, mainly in the areas of regional development and the preliminary planning of industrial tourism real estate projects
Capital Markets & Investment Services Leaders
Betty Wong leads the Colliers Capital Markets & Investment Services (CMIS) team in China. Based in Shanghai, Betty oversees the operations of the CMIS business and is responsible for coordinating all major mandates, as well as client strategies associated with real estate investment in China.
Betty’s CMIS team focuses not simply on carrying out property transactions on an individual basis, but instead on developing long-term relationships and ensuring that the best resources of the company are applied to create innovative real estate solutions, which produce lasting value for their clients. Each of her core team members has over 10 years’ experience serving the real estate industry and fully understands major real estate markets across China. The team provides clients with the best investment strategies, covering office, retail, business park, residential and industrial sectors.
John has an MBA from Concordia University in Canada and in total has over a decade of professional experience in both banking and real estate investment in mainland China, Hong Kong and overseas cities, and over the past 10 years, John has focused on the China real estate industry. His experience includes investment brokerage, office leasing, project sales and property development consultancy. Taken together, the projects he has been involved in cover more than two million square meters.
Jeff Cui is the Associate Director of Capital Markets based in Xi’an. He is responsible for investment deal sourcing and transaction execution, assisting investors, developers and property owners on their investment strategies and helping them complete en bloc acquisitions and sales.
Jeff had over 10 years’ working experience in real estate industry, coverage including real estate investment market research, valuation and asset management. He started his professional career as an asset manager of a mix-use project in Xi’an, and then joined an International Property Consultant firm as a consultant, providing various services to his clients including valuation, market research and consultation.
David Li is the Director of CMIS based in Chengdu. He specializes in bulk property transaction services, assisting investors, developers and property owners to develop investment strategies, and helping them complete overall acquisitions and sales.
David joined Colliers CMIS team in 2021 and is mainly responsible for Chengdu and other Southwest markets. Prior to joining Colliers, he worked in both international and domestic real estate service agency, mainly in charge of commercial real estate leasing work in Chengdu and west China.
Industrial Services Leaders
15 years industrial real estate experience. Sucessfully assisted client on land acquisition, disposition, site selection and development strategy conslutancy services with wealth industrial market knowledge and experience in logistics, manufacture and business park field.
Ray Deng is in charge of the agency and advisory service for the industrial and logistics properties. He has been involved in all aspects of the industrial real estate services for major cities in South China, like site selection advisory, leasing, sales, build to suite and etc.

- Has extensive industrial real estate knowledge, covering MNC property disposition, site selection, government & regulations, development strategy, asset strategy as well as investment services;

Shift to industrial developer from 2013 to 2021, focus on leasing and accquisition covered mid and west China.

Michael has served many major MNCs and satisfied their needs for office space. His major transactions in the past two years include but are not limited to 8,000 sq-m office relocation for Boehringer Ingelheim, 6,000 sq-m office renewal and expansion for Invista’s Asia Pacific headquarters, and 1,400 sq-m office relocation for A.T. Kearney. His delighted client from Boehringer Ingelheim said, “After internal discussion and scoring, we agreed that you and your team have met all our expectations fully. With this, we assess the KPI based on our service contract at 100%.”
Michael also won the Top Fee Generator of Tenant Rep. Greater China in 2010. As a result of his remarkable performance and outstanding client service, he was promoted to lead the Office Services – Tenant Representation team in East China in 2011

She has successfully provided market research and valuation services to a pre-IPO portfolio with over 60 mixed-used developments in China, and responsible to market research, valuation services for prime office/ retail/ hotel/ apartment properties in Beijng, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and other second tier cities. Project Management Services Leaders
Oliver has over 27 years’ experience in the construction industry. He is responsible as Managing Director for all projects in China and outside China involving Chinese firms and undertaken by Colliers and has full profit centre responsibility for the UK project management holding company and its two China subsidiaries (here referred to as the PjM China Group). All support function for the PjM China Group companies are managed within the PjM China Group under Oliver’s control (Finance, HSE, IT, HR and Administration) with only Compliance auditing being handled by the overall Collier’s holding company as an independent function. The PjM China Group also appoints its own professional advisers (legal, accounting and audit) and arranges its own PI insurance (through one of the ACE brokers, being a member of the UK ACE). All these functions are under Oliver’s leadership and control. The PjM China Group has undertaken over 1000 projects in China for some 400 clients during the period in which Oliver has worked with the firm in various capacities including his current Managing Director role. Oliver has the benefit of advice from a strong non-executive team. Oliver is a strong supporter of ICE.
