Melanie Shi has more than 20 years experience in valuation and negotiation of commercial real estate in both private and public sector. She has appraised more than 1,000 commercial properties in Lower Mainland. Her clients include all major banks, government agancies, property owners, developers, lawyers and accountants.
Her areas of expertise include industrial properties, deveopment lands, park lands, railway coridor valuation and partial interst valuation for expropriation purpose, with thorough highest and best use analysis.
Peter has over 25 years of corporate lending experience where he committed the majority of his career as a Senior Commercial Account Manager with major banks and credit unions in performing credit analysis for commercial loan requests, workout strategies, collection of challenged loans with collateral and repayment deficiencies. During his career, he managed 100+ customers, facilitating loan requests from $1MM to 20MM, and maintained loan portfolios from $20MM to $50MM.
As Commercial Mortgage Associate, Peter has positioned himself as a highly-skilled leader integrating business development strategies in generating leads through active prospecting and sales presentations for all asset classes, with a focus, but not limited to, multi-phase bridge and inventory financing, land servicing, and construction development.
Prior to joining the Colliers Ottawa Investment Team, Michael worked as a commercial real estate advisor specializing in the valuation of major commercial, industrial, multi-residential and institutional properties as well as all types of vacant land. He also became experienced in highest and best use and redevelopment analysis for public school dispositions and vacant lands as well as performing market area and rental studies for the Federal Government.
Throughout that period he obtained a vast working knowledge of the Canadian commercial landscape and more specifically the Ottawa commercial investment property market.
