Ty Whittaker

Ty is widely regarded as the dominant business park broker in the Greater Victoria marketplace having been involved with over $ 900 million in sales transactions and $500 million in lease transactions over the past 19 years.  Additionally, Ty has an extensive background in selling complex development sites throughout Victoria.  Ty has represented many institutional grade companies including University of Victoria, ICBC, Capital Regional District (CRD), The City of Victoria, The City of Langford, School District’s 61, 62 & 63, the Province of British Columbia, the Federal Government, Kingsett Capital & Whiterock REIT. 

Additionally, Ty authors the Victoria Industrial Market Survey annually.

​Ty is married with three kids and is active in our community coaching sports as well as having sat on a number of boards such as the Urban Development Institute and the Pacific Sport.

Consistently one of the top broker in Colliers Canada, Ty has been the top broker in Victoria in 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017 & 2018 and is a member of Colliers Everst Club for being in the top 10% of all brokers in the America's region.
