Rocky Neufeld

Rocky joined Colliers International as an Appraisal Consultant in 2008.  He has been a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) since 2002, receiving the AACI accreditation in 2006.  Rocky has been working in the valuation of commercial properties since 1996.

His start in commercial real estate was in the field of property tax appeals, and this has remained one of his specialties, along with other litigation appraisal services as well as appraisals for lending, development, acquisition, and other purposes.

-Non-profit groups, Institutional Users - property tax appeal and exemptions

-International Developers - feasibility studies, valuation for financing, and tax appeals

-Unique Properties - valuation for various purposes - airports, large-scale or specialty industrial properties, specialty retail or service industry, eco-gifting

-Tenants and Owner Occupants - business tax appeals

-Estate Settlement - for CRA, disposal, family transfer, accounting

-Independent Financial Review (IFRS) - income tax returns for businesses with reportable assets.  Currently for companies who require this due to being publicly traded, or operating in foreign countries.  This will be standard in Canada shortly.
