Jessi is responsible for hotel brokerage and debt placement. With 10 years of experience in real estate and finance he brings a unique dimension to the Colliers Canadian Hotel Practice Group with his comprehensive background in several investment disciplines, in particular hotels, restaurants and related industries. Jessi most recently worked with an investment banking firm, prior to that, he was with GE Capital for eight years as a senior account manager.
• Specializing in hotel and restaurant financing, he has completed several high-profile transactions, developing a deep expertise in mortgage and asset-based lending.
• Being heavily involved in hotel due diligence and underwriting, he has a thorough understanding of hotel financials and operations.

INNvestment Canada Hotel Report Q1 2021
Activity in the lodging capital markets remained muted through Q1 which saw approximately $197 million in transaction volume with acquisitions for alternate use remaining a key driver of activity. Looking ahead, an anticipated cresting of the third wave as the vaccine roll-out gathers steam and growing deal pipeline indicate the sector is poised for a rebound in the second half of the year.
