Sacramento’s retail market regained its momentum in the third quarter with the highest net absorption number so far this year as tenant demand helped drop the market vacancy rate to its lowest level since Q1 2008. A growing metropolitan region with more consumers has spurred developers to bring more new construction to the market. Three new shopping centers broke ground last quarter and new supply is underway in El Dorado Hills, Elk Grove, Roseville, and South Land Park. VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa opened its new 130,000 square foot health club in Roseville at the end of July, creating 250 new jobs.

I have been with Colliers International since January 1995 as Vice President specializing in retail properties.

Investments: Participated in several recent restaurant, retail sale transactions in addition to representing owner-user retail clients in purchasing buildings for their retail expansion.

Prior to joining Colliers International, I was with Parker Stevenson Brokerage Company as Partner and Sales Manager specializing in the Landlord representation of retail centers and in retail tenant representation.
