The Memphis industrial market experienced approximately 1.7 million square feet of positive absorption in Q3. The Southwest submarket had a third quarter positive absorption of 962,905 square feet, the most of any submarket in the Memphis MSA. Positive absorption in the Southwest was due in large part to a 7-building lease by Supply Chain Solutionsat Memphis Depot. The company expanded from it’s previous footprint of aproximately 134,000 square feet to almost 770,000 square feet.
