Colliers & Jackson Properties secure new office tenant in Campus Commons

Colliers represented Jackson Properties in the 2,650 square foot lease transaction at University Office Park

Sacramento, CA - June 28, 2021 – Colliers | Sacramento is excited to announce the execution of a new lease with First American Title Insurance Company at University Office Park located at 1 Park Center Drive in Campus Commons. Thomas Walcott and Jason Rutherford represented the landlord, Jackson Properties. First American Title leased approximately 2,650 square feet on the ground floor of the two-story office building that is also occupied by Banner Bank.

With the residential real estate market’s growth across Sacramento, demand from real estate and title companies has been one bright spot since the start of the disruptive pandemic that has rattled the local office market. First American Title signed a long-term lease after searching for a new high-visibility location in a Class A building. The new first-floor space will provide visibility and ease of access for their customers. 1 Park Center is located at the corner of Howe Avenue and University Avenue in the Campus Commons submarket, and is part of University Office Park, a 190,000 square-foot Class A office project.

According to Gregg Mason, SVP of Leasing with Jackson Properties, “This lease is a great win for both parties and fits into the professional services mix envisioned when we purchased the the office park.”
