Colliers Facilitates Sale of Chesapeake Crossing for Over $21 Million

Fredericksburg, VA – October 22, 2020 – Colliers International is pleased to announce the sale of Chesapeake Crossing, a 61-acre site located at 25 Strategy Drive, for $21,504,828.00.  Colliers’ Rich McDaniel, Lee Cherwek, and Samantha Jones represented the seller, Parkway Storage Groupe, LLC.

The site offers prime acreage with I-95 frontage and is adjacent to Stafford regional airport.  Parkway Storage graded roughly 45 acres of the site and implemented the necessary infrastructure for a data center when it purchased the site several years ago.

“The grading and infrastructure improvements were a huge investment made by Parkway but became the biggest advantage to marketing the site.  This is a huge win for Parkway Storage Groupe, Stafford County and the Fredericksburg area.” said Rich McDaniel, Senior Vice President at Colliers. “It’s the first e-commerce facility in the area and showcases what it has to offer.”
