Specialist in industrial & office properties represents over 1 million square feet
July 14, 2021 - AZRE magazine announced its list of the Most Influential Women in Commercial Real Estate for 2021. Keri Scott, vice president with Colliers in Arizona, will be honored at the awards event on Aug. 26, 2021, at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix.
Scott specializes in project leasing, building sales, and tenant representation for industrial and office properties. She represents more than 1 million square feet of properties, as well as a number of high-profile national and local tenants. Her focus is mid-bay industrial and flex office business parks; single- and multi-tenant industrial, and ground-up developments.
Lesson learned in 2020: “Family is the best medicine of all. After a catastrophic halt to things in the world—I had kids at home, house under construction, full-time job and an inability to function normally—I realized the family/life/work balance needed attention. Being able to spend time with family and work in tandem showed me that it is possible to manage both important roles simultaneously. Without my family to be there to help calm the chaos of what was happening in the world, I would not have made it through this past year.”
Source of pride: “Being inducted into the SIOR organization was something I was striving to accomplish prior to COVID and continue to work towards staying in it. Starting in property management, moving over to brokerage as support staff, and finally branching out on my own, I was super proud of being among the top industrial brokers in the industry within 12 years of management and six within brokerage.”
