As restaurants, retailers and bars prepare to reopen in West Michigan and across the state, customers can do their part in helping businesses reopen their doors safely.
Restaurants and retailers have been given guidelines by the state to keep employees and customers as safe as possible once they reopen. This includes limiting capacity to 50% of normal seating, requiring at least 6 feet of separation between parties, creating communications for customers to inform them of changes, and providing physical guidelines such as tape on floors or signage, among a wide range of safety guidelines.
Supporting our community’s businesses with your dollars throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has been critical to keeping many businesses afloat and getting to this point. We know there is a long road ahead and everyone wants to avoid any setbacks. Now that businesses are re-opening, it’s important everyone does their part to keep staff and customers safe.
