Maria Valanzano

With more than 12 years of experience, Maria serves as a Vice President at Colliers specializing in both Tenant and Landlord representation. She has developed a reputation as an expert negotiator, relationship builder, and advisor to her clients both locally and on a national level.

Maria has negotiated more than 1 million square feet of real estate transactions on behalf of corporations, professional service firms, government contractors, trade associations, and nonprofit organizations. That includes numerous Fortune 100 companies and other notable clients, such as UBS, Tritec, LNR, Alliant Insurance, The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, Catholic Health Services, FalconStor and many more. Maria has been featured in news articles and publications including the NYREJ, LIBN, and Newsday for her successful transactions.  

Over the years, Maria has grown as a broker and a leader in commercial real estate. From sourcing her own deals to managing and executing projects, she has proven to be an integral part of any real estate team. She goes above and beyond to service her clients that far exceeds the business task needed. It’s not just about closing a deal, it’s creating and maintaining a mutually respectful relationship with her clients. Maria completed transactions valued over $23 million in 2022 and looks forward to continued success in 2023. 

In her spare time, Maria enjoys riding her Peloton, going to dinner with friends and spending time with her husband Chris & their dog Emmie. They currently reside in Massapequa, NY and make sure to take full advantage of the south shore beaches during the summer.
