Juan is a results driven professional responsible for driving Colliers’ business growth in Latin America through strategic prospecting, identification, and acquisition of new business opportunities. He targets various stakeholders, including owners, investors, developers, users, governments, and corporations, and creates and executes effective strategies to attract and retain new clients while expanding existing relationships.
Juan is a seasoned leader whose expertise has helped Colliers expand its full range of services across more than 17 countries in the Latin American region. His extensive experience working with major multinational corporations like Oracle, Nokia, Alcon, Cummins, EY, and PepsiCo, has enabled him to provide exceptional real estate services to clients.
Juan brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role at Colliers, having joined the company in 2004 as a Managing Partner for the Southeast region of Mexico. He later moved to Miami in 2009, where he has continued to make significant contributions to the success of the company. With a background as an End User, Juan has also served as Head of Real Estate for DHL in Latin America. This unique perspective has enabled him to better understand and anticipate the needs of his clients and provide them with customized solutions.

Throughout the years, Juan has catered to a diverse range of corporate clients, such as Nokia, Oracle, 3M, American Express, AT&T, Maersk, LOreal, Sanofi, Alcon, Ernst & Young, PepsiCo, DHL, Cargill, Siemens Energy, and several others.
Juan holds a law degree from the ELD and completed postgraduate studies on the Legal Regime of International Business. He is a candidate for the Master in Corporate Real Estate, through CoreNet Global. Juan is a fluent Spanish speaker and professionally proficient in English, with skills in French and Portuguese.
In his personal life, Juan is married with three grown-up children and enjoys various hobbies, including writing, swimming, golfing, and playing the piano.
Juan is CoreNet Global´ s Advisory Chair for the Southeast Florida Chapter, and a member of the organizing committee of the IAMC Latam Chapters (Industrial Asset Management Council). He is one of the founders of Colliers' Executive Diversity Council, and Executive Sponsor of the LIDER ERG. He regularly engages with multiple organizations like the GRI Club, Enterprise Florida, Select USA, ProColombia, the Beacon Council, the US Mexico Chamber of Commerce, WorldCity and ULI.
