Jon specializes in selling and leasing retail locations throughout Central Ohio, representing landlords and tenants around the country. In addition, Jon has experience with the sale and acquisition of land for development opportunities. He developed a broad range of knowledge as to the various aspects of retailing from store location to merchandising and marketing through 15 years of work with a retail consulting/marketing research firm. Since joining Colliers International in 2001, Jon has successfully leased more than 500,000 sf of retail space and been involved in commercial transactions valued at more than $40 million.

Jon's primary focus has been the leasing of retail centers and free-standing buildings, as well as tenant representation. Jon began his commercial real estate profession in 1994 with a Columbus based retail specialty brokerage where his responsibilities involved generating leasing activity on the firm's 11 neighborhood/community centers totaling 1.2 million square feet.

Prior to his real estate profession, Jon spent 15 years with an internationally known retail consulting/marketing research firm. He has a broad range of knowledge as to the various aspects of retailing from store location to merchandising and marketing. Jon has authored reports and articles on the off-price retailing industry, as well as assisted with the research efforts of the 5th and 6th edition of the widely used text and reference book, Retailing Management.

Jon is currently responsible for the leasing of several shopping centers and freestanding buildings, as well as the tenant representation of several local retailers and franchise operators. In addition, he is marketing the sale of several vacant commercial properties for redevelopment. Recently, he has been involved in the site selection and lease negotiations for a variety of food related establishments.
