Jim Chaconas

Prior to working in commercial real estate, Jim spent years working for and managing his family’s beer distributorship, which serviced retailers in Washtenaw and Livingston County. This experience has been a boon to Jim’s land work, giving him an understanding of not only the importance of land and location, but class A roads, shipping logistics, etc. It has also given Jim a working knowledge of layout and flow of warehouse space.

Sold and helped redeveloped over 11 major downtown Ann Arbor buildings. Introduced the office condominium concept to the Washtenaw County area over 15 years ago. Redevelopment of Westgate and Courtyard Shopping Centers. Assembled over 1,000 acres for residential and commercial development in Ann Arbor, Saline, Canton and Dexter. Assisted the City of Ann Arbor on various land and development issues. Consulted with Ann Arbor Fair Housing on site selection and land acquisition
