About Me
Jamie Swick is a licensed real estate broker who has been serving the commercial real estate industry since 2000. She specializes in private off-campus student housing (POSH) and has notable capabilities in negotiation, financing structures, and bringing new buyers to the table. Swick started her career in on-the-ground operations and marketing and has since helped in acquisitions and dispositions totaling over $1 billion.
A fourth-generation resident of Alachua County, Swick was born and raised in the city of Alachua. As a third-generation commercial real estate broker Swick was raised in the business and understands how real estate professionals shape a community.
In 2012, Swick moved to Charlotte, NC and launched one of the first consulting firms in the country solely focused on POSH, working on assignments all throughout the contiguous United States. Over a period of six years, projects included NOI maximization, comparative market analysis and product direction for new projects such as Creative Village in Downtown Orlando for the University of Central Florida.

The 23-year career in multifamily housing began at Contemporary Management Concepts, Inc. in Gainesville. With ten years employed as part of Nathan Collier’s asset management team, Swick started in on-the-ground operations and marketing and understands how everyday operations affect returns. 
Education
A student at both Santa Fe College and the University of Florida, Swick dual majored and holds both a Bachelor of Arts in History and Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Florida.
Also a licensed real estate broker since 2000.

In 2018, Swick became the fourth member of the elite Colliers Student Housing Practice Group, based out of Tampa, Florida. After five years of working nationally Swick has come back to Gainesville, Florida to apply what she has learned to her backyard while offering support to all the service lines offered by the team.
