Prior to rejoining Colliers in May 2019, El served as National Director, Shopping Centers at Matthews REIS. From 2016 to 2018, he tripled the firms Shopping Center business revenue closing 70 transactions for over $1B in revenue. Prior, El spent 5 years truly learning the fundamentals of real estate and appraised over $10B worth of institutional quality assets at CB Richard Ellis in downtown Los Angeles. His team was the No. 1 appraisal group in the country for all the years he was with the firm. By leveraging his strong financial and communication skills he was able to offer his clients a higher level of investment sales services than his competitors.
