Dan Wilkinson

In  his more than 58 years in commercial real estate, Dan Wilkinson has been involved in more than $1 billion in commercial real estate transactions, primarily in industrial and investment sales and leasing.  Dan was instrumental in helping to assemble Airport Industrial Park, a 1,200 acre, 15 million square foot park that was the first industrial development of its kind in the market.  Dan has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Tom Richardson award, regarded as the most prestigious honor bestowed by Colliers International.  Dan is a past national president of SIOR.

Dan began his career in real estate with Wilkinson & Snowden, Inc., now Colliers International, in 1960 and became a partner and vice president in 1968.  During the early 1960’s, he served in the Army and Army Reserves achieving the rank of captain.  From 1962 to 1995, Dan focused on the land assemblage of Airport Industrial Park as well as on industrial brokerage, including both tenant and landlord representation.  In 1998, he began focusing on industrial investment sales and has completed approximately $700 million in investment transactions.  Dan served as president of Colliers from 1994 to 2004, and has served as chairman of the board since that time.  Dan joined the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR) in 1971 and served as their national president in 1992.  

Dan is a professional musician and has played in the United States, Europe, Alaska, and Hawaii.  In 2011, he toured Ireland with country artist Billy Dean, opening with Billy for Kenny Rogers.
