Carter Beim

Carter Beim is an Executive Vice President, founding partner and regional leader of the Life Science division of Occupier Services Bay Area (OSBA) in San Francisco.  OSBA specializes in occupier representation providing clients with a platform of integrated services locally, nationally and globally.  Carter is responsible for developing and implementing real estate strategy, technology integration, transaction management and account governance.  Carter represents a diverse group of clients in technology and the life sciences ranging from venture-backed start-ups to companies listed in the Fortune 500. 

Carter has been recognized as Colliers San Francisco’s #1 producer in 2010, and from 2014-2019. In 2013 Carter represented Eventbrite in the 100,000 square foot lease of 155 5th Street. In 2014 Carter represented Splunk in the 215,000 square foot lease of 270 Brannan Street. In 2017 Carter represented Adobe in the 330,000 square foot lease at 100 Hooper which was recognized by the San Francisco Business Times for Office Deals of the Year. In that same year, Carter disposed of 175,000 square feet of office and lab space for Pfizer. In 2018 Carter represented ServiceNow in the 450,000 square foot extension and expansion of the company’s HQ in Santa Clara. In 2018 Carter represented Adobe in the 410,000 square foot lease of PTP IV in Bangalore, India. In 2019 Carter represented Adobe in the 225,000 square foot lease in New York. In addition to these projects Carter actively manages global accounts completing transactions throughout the Americas, EMEA and APAC.
