Community Giving: Singaporeans get Out For Good!

In 2020, Colliers Singapore partnered with the Waterways Watch Society (WWS) as part of Asia’s Out for Good! Corporate Responsibility program.

WWS is a not-for-profit non-governmental organization that is committed to fostering appreciation for and promoting conservation of the environment, especially our waterways. Throughout the month of September, professionals from the Singapore office went to clean up Kallang River, either on foot or by bike. The outing gave the team the opportunity to learn about the impact of litter on wildlife and drinking water quality, as well as the magnitude of resources required to preserve our environment.

In four weeks, the team collected more than 300 kilograms of waste – heavier than two fully-grown male pandas!
