Mike is the longest serving expatriate at any Indonesian property consultant having relocated to Jakarta in 1992 to found and manage a new Indonesian property consultancy which focused on tenant and investor representation. The employees and business of that firm were combined with those of Colliers in 2004 when Mike assumed the management of Colliers' Indonesian operations. 

Mike is a US citizen who was born and lived in southern California until his family relocated to Dallas, Texas where he completed high school and obtained his BBA from Southern Methodist University in 1977. In 1979, he earned an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin and joined Republic Bank Dallas where he was promoted to the position of Vice President in the Real Estate Banking Group. From 1984 through 1992, Mike worked in various capacities for Trammell Crow Interests including as the General Manager - Far East Development beginning in 1989.​

Kardo has over 15 years’ of experience in the real estate field specializes in advisory and property valuation. As a member of the Investment Services team, he focuses to support the team for property assessment covering all major sectors including residential, commercial, retail, industrial, hospitality and leisure.

Before joining Colliers International, Kardo was the Valuation Technical Manager at KJPP MSS, Kardo primary responsible to ensure that the Valuation report provides is accordingly to current standard, consistent and meets both external and internal requirements. He also responsible to providing Feasibility Study, Highest and Best Use Study and also Project Monitoring Report.
