About Me
Martin is based in Shanghai and leads the China hub for the Corporate Solutions APAC team. Corporate Solutions services comprise the outsourcing of real estate management processes, as well as ongoing or one-off specific services and technologies:
- Occupier Consulting (Market Entry; Site Selection; Corporate real estate strategy consulting; SOP Development; CRE Organizational Consulting, etc.)
- Workplace Advisory (Activity-Based Working; Wellness Consulting; Change Management)
- Account Management (Portfolio Strategy; Transaction Management; Resource Secondment)
- Lease Administration & Technology (Contract Management; Real Estate & Business Analytics - own or 3rd party software/ platforms)
- Facilities Management (limited capabilty)
Martin started his professional career in 2001 in industrial supply chain management in the US and in 2006 transitioned into commercial real estate in China. He has working experience in 3 continents and can speak 4 languages (Spanish, English, Chinese and Portuguese). He initially excelled as a commercial leasing broker (Top1 China performer in 2011) and since 2012, also as a manager. He remains heavily involved in client relationship management and account service delivery.
Martin has successful experience with both Multinational companies and Chinese companies (from a variety of industries); across different asset classes (mainly office and industrial, some retail); across multiple geopraphies (Greater China, rest of APAC, EMEA and Americas); and with both in transactions (leasehold and freehold) and consulting assignments.
