About Me
As a Senior Associate in the Property Tax Division at Colliers, Hayley assists clients in reviewing and analyzing property assessments annually. Overall, the goal is to reduce to the tax burden on commercial property owners and their tenants by ensuring property assessments are fair and equitable.
With nearly five years if work experience in the industry, Hayley has specialized in income producing properties such as suburban offices, retail, and multi-family. In addition, Hayley also has extensive knowledge and experience with development lands, commercial land, industrial properties and car dealerships.
Hayley as conducted over 200 individual hearings before the Assessment Review Board. She has been in the industry for six years, and has obtained significant tax savings at the Assessment Review Board.
In 2018, Hayley was successful on all suburban office files that she appealed to the Assessment Review Board and achieved substantial tax savings. This included all qualities of suburban office assets which she had reviewed, compiled evidence, and presented the arguments before the Assessment Review Board. Some noteworthy reductions ranged from 30%-45% off of the initial assessment value.

Education
Hayley attended the University of British Columbia (Vancouver), and subsequently transferred to the University of Calgary where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Science (Biological Science and Chemistry). Hayley was involved in the Real Estate Student Association (RESA) at the University of Calgary for two years, and was the Director of Events.
In 2018, Hayley enrolled in the Diploma of Urban Land Economics (DULE) program from the Real Estate Division on the University of British Columbia, specializing in Assessment and Appraisal.
