My Team
Jon specializes in the industrial and land sectors of the Houston MSA commercial real estate market. He has 10 years of commercial real estate experience and has completed more than 300 transactions. These transactions include tenant and buyer representation, dispositions, design/construct, and build-to-suit evaluations. In addition to brokerage Jon has extensive knowledge of investment real estate and has advised clients with the acquisition and development of several land tracks and income producing assets. His track record of brokerage and advisement services enables Jon to provide unparalleled value to his clients.
Prior to joining Colliers, Jon worked at a large local real estate firm and co-founded a boutique real estate firm. In 2015, he joined Colliers to advise his clients not only in the Houston local market, but also on a global basis if desired.
Jon is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a double major (Finance and Banking Institutions) while lettering three years with the baseball team. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in 2004.
Mr. Peschel is a multi-disciplined commercial real estate advisor with experience in tenant/buyer representation, relocation/expansion, land acquisition/disposition, and economic incentive negotiations. He spends most of his time on industrial and land transactions, but given the Colliers network and resources, he’s involved in a variety of deal types including office and investments. He is surrounded by experts who he partners with depending on the deal. He stays involved in transactions to bring trust to the client.

Barkley's background in economic development combined with the Colliers process and platform gives him a unique perspective and experience that he uses to meet his clients’ commercial real estate needs.
Barkley is consistently a top producer (Titan) in the Houston office. In 2015, he was a Colliers' Everest Award recipient. This award is bestowed upon the top 10% of all Colliers brokerage professionals across the United States based on revenue production.
Patsy joined Colliers in 2023 as the Research Director and has more than 40 years of communications, research and statistical analysis experience in the commercial real estate industry. She produces annual and quarterly market-area reports and project-specific custom reports for client presentations while effectively utilizing commercial real estate tools and databases.
Patsy has a deep understanding of how to capture real estate data, analyze market trends and provide meaningful data-driven insights to assist clients in finding solutions to meet their real estate needs.

- Senior Insight Analyst/Research Manager for Avison Young’s Houston office from 2018-2022. Responsible for leading market research by tracking and analyzing key economic and market trends. Maintained office and industrial building data and comps in a proprietary in-house database.
- Senior Market Analyst for Commercial Gateway, the commercial division of the Houston Association of Realtors, and for CDS Market Research.
- Served as Communications/Research Director for The Horne Company and Grubb & Ellis.
- Edited a local monthly magazine, a weekly newspaper and a special section for the Houston Post.
Bringing 32 years of experience in commercial real estate, Marilynne joined Colliers in 2018 to provide financial analysis to the company’s leasing and investment sales teams for all types of assets, including the following types of financial analysis:
- lease renewal and relocation comparisons
- mid-term lease renegotiations (“blend and extend”)
- lease buyouts
- sublease disposition/recovery
- build-to-suit vs. design-build
- lease vs. buy
- own vs. sale/leaseback
- landlord net effective rate
- discounted cash flows
Prior to joining Colliers, she specialized in advising companies regarding their financial analysis for commercial real estate requirements or investments for 17 years. Marilynne also has a background in commercial mortgage underwriting/loan originations and commercial real estate appraisal.
