Bringing 32 years of experience in commercial real estate, Marilynne joined Colliers in 2018 to provide financial analysis to the company’s leasing and investment sales teams for all types of assets, including the following types of financial analysis:
- lease renewal and relocation comparisons
- mid-term lease renegotiations (“blend and extend”)
- lease buyouts
- sublease disposition/recovery
- build-to-suit vs. design-build
- lease vs. buy
- own vs. sale/leaseback
- landlord net effective rate
- discounted cash flows
Prior to joining Colliers, she specialized in advising companies regarding their financial analysis for commercial real estate requirements or investments for 17 years. Marilynne also has a background in commercial mortgage underwriting/loan originations and commercial real estate appraisal.
Chris Hutcheson joins Colliers in Houston as Senior Vice President in the land advisory group. He specializes in land tracts for single-family, multifamily, retail and industrial developments.
He brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience in the land advisory sector, with expertise in acquisition and disposition of land to investors, developers and end-users.
Together with James Kadlick, he has negotiated more than 30,000 acres of land valued at more than $1 billion in real estate transactions over the last 17 years.
Chris’ local market expertise and dedication to his clients’ best interests have helped earn him many long-lasting relationships with individuals and companies who rely on his advice to help make informative real estate decisions.
Chris is a seventh-generation Houstonian who graduated from Episcopal High School. He then attended The University of Texas at Austin graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Government.
Prior to joining Colliers, Chris spent 18 years with Rockspring Properties (formerly McAlister Real Estate) where he served as Vice President. Before Rockspring, he worked as an associate with InSite Realty in their corporate services division.
Harrison Kane joins Colliers Houston as a Senior Vice President. He represents his clients on both the acquisition and sale sides of transactions.
He focuses on land tracts (urban or suburban) for single family, multifamily, retail and industrial development. He oversees all aspects of the transaction process for his clients.
Harrison works with and represents landowners throughout the greater Houston area and helps them create a competitive bidding situation in order to maximize the value and shorten the timeline of each transaction. He also works on investment sales in the transitioning submarkets of Houston where there is great redevelopment potential.
Harrison is a sixth-generation Houstonian who graduated from Episcopal High School. He then went on to the University of Georgia where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Harrison holds his Real Estate Broker’s License in the State of Texas. Prior to Colliers, he worked for McAlister Real Estate and Rockspring Properties focusing on land transactions.
Doug joined the Colliers Houston office in January 2023. Doug has over 25 years of experience in marketing and graphic design, including print, video, web design and app development. He has mastery of the adobe creative cloud software programs and is especially skilled in concept planning and implementation. He is adept at innovating with the latest technological mediums that provide a superb client experience, including workflow optimization, augmented reality and virtual reality.
Before joining Colliers, Doug served as Senior Vice President, Creative Director for PMRG/Madison Marquette; he worked for Grubb & Ellis/Newmark Grubb Knight Frank for eight years, where he was the Director of Marketing for the Houston office while also serving on the corporate marketing team. During his tenure with Grubb & Ellis, he was honored to win the Grubb & Ellis employee of the year on two occasions. He also worked for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), where he was responsible for managing JLL’s brand identity in all marketing, communications and promotional contexts. At JLL, he was honored with the CMR First and Best Practice Award for his “Interactive Placemat” design. Before his move to the commercial real estate industry, Mr. Berry spent seven years working for Texas Fish & Game Magazine. Mr. Berry received the Texas Outdoor Writers Association’s top issue multiple times.
Patsy joined Colliers in 2023 as the Research Director and has more than 40 years of communications, research and statistical analysis experience in the commercial real estate industry. She produces annual and quarterly market-area reports and project-specific custom reports for client presentations while effectively utilizing commercial real estate tools and databases.
Patsy has a deep understanding of how to capture real estate data, analyze market trends and provide meaningful data-driven insights to assist clients in finding solutions to meet their real estate needs.

- Senior Insight Analyst/Research Manager for Avison Young’s Houston office from 2018-2022. Responsible for leading market research by tracking and analyzing key economic and market trends. Maintained office and industrial building data and comps in a proprietary in-house database.
- Senior Market Analyst for Commercial Gateway, the commercial division of the Houston Association of Realtors, and for CDS Market Research.
- Served as Communications/Research Director for The Horne Company and Grubb & Ellis.
- Edited a local monthly magazine, a weekly newspaper and a special section for the Houston Post.
