Chris Seelig is a Senior Vice President and Principal with Colliers International, a global real estate organization with more than 450 offices worldwide.
Mr. Seelig, who joined Colliers International in 2013, oversees the Retail Services Group at the Cleveland office. Specializing in retail tenant representation, landlord representation and restaurant leasing throughout Ohio, Chris has personally participated in and managed over 675 sale and lease transactions, with an aggregate value in excess of $375 million. With more than 20 years of experience representing both landlords and tenants, Chris has handled assignments throughout Ohio and the Midwest. His experience includes investment sales, land assemblage, corporate dispositions, REO properties, zoning and development.
I am a fourth-year dual-degree candidate at Case Western Reserve University where I am pursuing my Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Applied Engineering Sciences with a concentration in Business Law from Michigan State University where I completed my undergraduate education in 2019.
Although I was born and raised in southeast Michigan, I am proud to call Cleveland my home. I am very excited to put my background in engineering, business, and law to use with the Seelig Retail Team at the Cleveland-Akron office.
I have transitioned into the Operations Manager position after years as a Marketing Specialist for Colliers. I work closely with our Managing Director on a daily basis with the operating and administrative duties of the Cleveland-Akron office.
As a Marketing Specialist for the Cleveland office, I was responsible for the creation and implentation of company marketing strategies that assist the company and the retail team by enhancing their presence in the local market. Property Auctions also have been introduced to our office, I work with the professionals with marketing and creating websites for due diligence booklets and videos.
Prior to joining Colliers in 2018, I have worked as a Graphic Designer for an advertising company as well as the Marketing Director for a non-profit theatre company.
I am someone who enjoys digging through my resources and diving into the numbers and values to obtain the most quality information for our brokers and clients at Colliers. Utilizing the many resources here I can use that information to help complete reports, publications, proposals and other requests to ensure our clients are fully satisfied. With a background in the sport industry as well as the mortgage industry I have learned to be a team player. Consulting with many different sports organizations, I have had different research experiences with the goal of driving in new revenue and creating long lasting relationships with teams, businesses, patrons and sponsorships. Through these different roles I have enjoyed the researched aspect of my career and wanted to translate my skills within commercial real estate.
Outside of work you can see me jogging around downtown, attending any Cleveland sporting event, or skiing in the winter.
