Lisa Sims joined Colliers in 2001 as a member of the Office Services Group. She brings more than 23 years of commercial real estate experience to our team. Lisa oversees all aspects of lease and sale transactions from inception through closing, as well as manages the workflow and facilitation of tasks for her team. Lisa has participated in numerous transactions involving office, medical, land and investment properties. She manages the compilation of research materials, creation of marketing and promotional materials, preparation of financial analysis reports, and provides various other brokerage support services to insure the success of each project in which she is involved. Lisa’s strengths are her attention to detail, unique problem solving skills and her commitment to excellence. She has built an outstanding reputation as a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and has a proven record of providing excellent internal and external results for clients and the members of her team.
Prior to joining Colliers, Lisa was with a smaller boutique commercial real estate firm in Houston. Previous to that, Lisa spent 18 years working with homebuilders in Houston and Austin, where she gained a multitude of knowledge in many different aspects of residential real estate transactions. Lisa is a native Houstonian.
Bringing 32 years of experience in commercial real estate, Marilynne joined Colliers in 2018 to provide financial analysis to the company’s leasing and investment sales teams for all types of assets, including the following types of financial analysis:
- lease renewal and relocation comparisons
- mid-term lease renegotiations (“blend and extend”)
- lease buyouts
- sublease disposition/recovery
- build-to-suit vs. design-build
- lease vs. buy
- own vs. sale/leaseback
- landlord net effective rate
- discounted cash flows
Prior to joining Colliers, she specialized in advising companies regarding their financial analysis for commercial real estate requirements or investments for 17 years. Marilynne also has a background in commercial mortgage underwriting/loan originations and commercial real estate appraisal.
Aimee joined the Colliers Houston office in August 2019. With a background in public relations, Aimee quickly shifted to a role with the marketing team as a project coordinator. In this role, she works on special projects and performs various tasks such as auditing and maintaining advisor profiles, and auditing and maintaining master broker list.
Aimee earned both the Commercial Property Marketing Certification (CPMC) and Commercial Property Research Certification (CPRC) from Colliers University. CPMC and CPRC are the first and only accreditations for commercial real estate marketing and research professionals. It offers a professional development path to increase strategic and tactical expertise in marketing/research, knowledge of the industry and capabilities with commercial real estate tools.
Patsy joined Colliers in 2023 as the Research Director and has more than 40 years of communications, research and statistical analysis experience in the commercial real estate industry. She produces annual and quarterly market-area reports and project-specific custom reports for client presentations while effectively utilizing commercial real estate tools and databases.
Patsy has a deep understanding of how to capture real estate data, analyze market trends and provide meaningful data-driven insights to assist clients in finding solutions to meet their real estate needs.

- Senior Insight Analyst/Research Manager for Avison Young’s Houston office from 2018-2022. Responsible for leading market research by tracking and analyzing key economic and market trends. Maintained office and industrial building data and comps in a proprietary in-house database.
- Senior Market Analyst for Commercial Gateway, the commercial division of the Houston Association of Realtors, and for CDS Market Research.
- Served as Communications/Research Director for The Horne Company and Grubb & Ellis.
- Edited a local monthly magazine, a weekly newspaper and a special section for the Houston Post.
