My Team
Kris is a Director in Colliers' Auckland Investment Sales division. For over a decade he has sold a wide range of commercial property around the Auckland region including tenanted investements, add-value opportunities, and development sites. Since 2017 he has also been a part of Colliers' Syndication division, acting in the raise of almost $700M of investor equity on behalf of several syndication clients.
Prior to joining Colliers in 2012, Kris studied law and commerce at the University of Otago, graduating in 2004. He then practiced as a commercial property solicitor for nine years (2004-2012), working at large law firms in Auckland and Wellington. His clients included private and institutional investors, developers, central and local government bodies, hoteliers, banks and financiers, listed property trusts, and family offices.
Over his 17-year commercial property career Kris has built a rare combination of legal and agency expertise accross a broad range of markets. The resulting track-record and industry network are testament to his committment to adding value for his clients and adopting a truly professional approach to agency.
Ned forms part of the Colliers Investment Sales team operating out of the Auckland CBD office. His 5 years of brokerage experience is built from his enjoyment in uncovering value for underperforming assets, gaining his clients trust through a committed process and consistent results. An approach based on integrity is always upheld with a genuine interest in each client’s desires.
With specialisation in Auckland’s immerging fringe markets, Ned has a thorough understanding of the city’s suburban landscape and its market forces. This has led to over $150 million worth of real estate sales since starting in 2018.
Having an early passion for real estate, Ned completed a Bachelor of Property at The University of Auckland whilst working for another commercial real estate corporation. He clearly enjoys the grit of brokerage showing dedication and diligence through a highly enthusiastic attitude and hard work ethic.

Gawan is a solutions-focused and proactive member of the Colliers International Investment Sales team, based in Auckland CBD. He specialises in scouting and matching suitable investment opportunities for individual property owners, family trusts, high profile national property and retail groups. He is the area expert for Mount Roskill, Three Kings, Hillsborough, Onehunga, Mount Albert, and Sandringham with extensive knowledge and local information for each suburb.
Gawan’s Bachelors of Commerce and Bachelors of Property from University of Auckland have equipped him with the technical expertise required to identify the benefits and risks associated with each property and provide reliable and professional advice to his clients. He goes to length to ensure his clients have access to all the relevant information and are able to overcome challenges with his advice, before making a final decision.
Gawan’s thorough understanding of property investment and market conditions, paired with his proficient localised knowledge means he is able to discern every deal carefully on a case by case basis to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients.
Gawan speaks fluent Hindi and Punjabi and understands Gujurati and Urdu, making him an important member of the team with the ability to access and communicate with this growing market audience.
In 2011 and 2012 Matt was awarded the “Golden Gavel” for Colliers New Zealand as the most successful auction sales broker across Colliers New
Zealand.
In 2013, Matt was in the top 10 Highest Performing Brokers Nationwide and in 2014, he again finished in the top 10 in NZ.
In 2015, Matt completed over 60 transactions, more than any broker North of the Bridge, again finishing in the Top 20 brokers in New Zealand.
In 2016, Matt had a record year finishing top 10 in the country and was the top broker on the North Shore.
In 2017 Matt finished in the top 5 brokers in New Zealand and completed over 70 transactions.
In 2018 he finished in the top 10 brokers in New Zealand and completed over 120 transactions. Matt was awarded the MVP of brokerage for Colliers
International New Zealand.
In 2019 Matt finished in the top 5 brokers in New Zealand and achieved the “Golden Gavel” as the highest performing “Auction Broker”. Again, he
completed over 100 transactions.
2020 was a record year, selling over $250 million of stock, with 99 deals in total for the year. Matt finished as the 4
th
highest performing broker in NZ.
In 2021 Matt completed over $500 million in sales and finished the year as the number 3 Colliers Broker in NZ, & the number 1 in the North / West
market.
In 2022 Matt was a top finalist for the REINZ Commercial & Industrial Salesperson of the year award, judged across all agencies. Matt finished the
2022 year as the number 1 broker in Auckland, and number 2 nationally. Over Matt’s career, he has sold over 2 Billion dollars of asset value.

Richard is responsible for the promotion of New Zealand property to international investors, leveraging of his relationships developed in executive positions during his near 8 years in Hong Kong, as well as assisting to grow the company’s nationwide Rural and Agribusiness agency capability.
Richard began his real estate career in 2004 with CBRE, in the five years he spent with them (before leaving to run Colliers Hong Kong business in 2008) he was involved in many notable transactions including the sale of the Lion Nathan site in Newmarket for $162m, the sale of the GE & BNZ Britomart properties on behalf of Manson’s to the German fund HIH and portfolio sales, including the successful auctioning of 16 National Bank Branches across New Zealand.
During his time as MD of Colliers Hong Kong he was involved in the sale of 50 Connaught Road on behalf Apollo Group (a New York based Hedge Fund) to the Agricultural Bank of China for $US632m.
Richard was the Managing Director of Colliers Hong Kong office for six years from 2009-2014. During this time he was an active participant in several high value transactions and developed broad relationships with both Asian investors and colleagues across the region.
In late 2014, Richard agreed to run CBRE’s Asia Pacific Capital Market business, including their Capital Advisory (Real Estate Investment Banking) business, this further added to his knowledge of real estate investors, particularly in greater Asia.
As a senior executive of Colliers for 6 years in Hong Kong, Richard has strong personal relationships with Colliers personnel across the globe.
After more than a decade in Australia’s highly competitive commercial property sector, Blair joined Colliers International NZ as Director in the Capital Markets team in April 2017.
Specialising in the sale of larger commercial assets and mixed-use sites around New Zealand, Blair brings a high level of energy and diligence to the industry. His extensive knowledge and educational background ensures he is well-equipped in progressing and developing the Capital Markets team.

Previous Experience
From 2014 – 2017, Blair was Director and Head of JLL’s South Sydney office where under his leadership, the company grew from third to first in the South Sydney market in both leasing and sales. In 2015 he was the company’s highest fee earner across the Australian industrial business. Blair specialised in the sale and leasing of larger industrial and commercial assets including mixed-use development sites within the South Sydney market.
Prior to this he was Head of Industrial, South Sydney at CBRE. While at CBRE, Blair won the prestigious Circle of Excellence Award twice for his performances and was highest fee writer in the South Sydney office in 2012 and 2013.
Peterken’s top transaction while in Sydney was the 2014 sale of a 4.9ha business park in Rosebery, South Sydney to Meriton Group for A$190,000,000
His two biggest leases were the single largest leasing transactions in South Sydney in their respective years. In 2011, he leased a Goodman-developed, 12,400sq m warehouse and office in Mascot to logistics company Toll, and last year, he leased a Meriton-owned 22,000sq m site in Pagewood to WSI Logistics.

Logan forms part of the Auckland CBD Investment Sales Team at Colliers International. Prior to Joining Colliers, Logan completed a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland swiftly moving into the role of Business Development Manager for New Zealand’s largest specialised waste & recycling equipment supplier. Utilising the skills obtained from this role, Logan now applies this knowledge to his strong interest of commercial real estate.
Logan places emphasis on creating and developing long lasting relationships by putting the needs of his clients first, to achieve the best possible results. He specialises in retail, office, mixed use & residential development land sales within Auckland's City Fringe market, with particular focus in the Panmure, Glen Innes, Mt Wellington, Ellerslie, Greenlane and Eastern Suburbs areas.
Ben is an Associate Director in the Auckland CBD Investment Sales Team at Colliers International. He has 10 years property industry experience across both the New Zealand and UK property Markets.
Throughout his career, he has worked in a diverse range of roles including valuation, portfolio management and both sales & leasing brokerage, giving him an excellent understanding of the different facets of the property industry.
Ben’s diverse range of experiences provides him with a broad understanding of the motivators for both purchasers and sellers, greatly assisting in any transactions and negotiations.
Ben is currently specialising in syndications, investment properties, land sales, office, retail and mixed use properties..
In 1993 Peter returned to New Zealand from the United Kingdom with several years’ experience in property management and development. During this time, he worked for Vanson Developments (Richard Branson´s property development company) for two years, and in investment and management for Fuller Peiser (Rolls Royce and Vickers Pension Funds). Upon his return to New Zealand, Peter joined Colliers International (NZ) Limited, where he has been ever since.
Peter now leads the Colliers International Capital Markets division, based in the Auckland CBD. The team is proud to have established a new approach to collaborative working within their division, a first the New Zealand marketplace.
