Angeles City, 30 October 2020 - Palecek, a US-based designer-furniture company recently signed a lease for an office space at Nepo Center, Juan D. Nepomuceno & Sons’ (JDN) sprawling mixed use complex in Angeles, Pampanga.
Eric Carlson, Director of Asia Operations for Palecek, said that their main consideration for office space was proximity to commercial support facilities and accessibility for employees. As a community, pedestrian and environment-friendly business center in the heart of Angeles City, the Nepo Center was an ideal choice.
According to Carlson, “The Palecek team is thrilled to start our next chapter at the Nepo Center. We are very grateful to our partners at JDN for helping us find our dream location and we couldn’t be happier."
Rick Wilkerson, President of JDN, added, “We remain bullish in the office sector here in Pampanga. In fact, our buildings - Entec 1 and 2 - are maxed out and we are looking at redeveloping other spaces to meet demand."
While Pampanga continues to be on the radar of occupiers, with developments in Angeles and Clark contributing to available office supply, auxiliary projects are being triggered within the area. In a recent disclosure, Rockwell Land Corp has partnered with TGN Realty, a company which is also part of the Nepomuceno Group of Companies, and will create the first ever Power Plant Mall outside Metro Manila. The joint venture will also herald the redevelopment of 3.6 hectares within the complex and deliver residential projects aside from the Rockwell branded mall.
This redevelopment will augment the office portfolio within the Nepo Center and provide new support facilities within the complex for office tenants, including Palecek.
Palecek, which has operated in the Philippines for more than 40 years, will be a relocating from their office in Clark. This transaction was brokered by Colliers International Philippines, the exclusive leasing partner of JDN.
