Tara Sargent

Property & Facilities Manager

Tara joined the Colliers industrial team in 2016 as a Database Administrator and was quickly promoted to Office Manager of the Highbrook office. Along with supporting the industrial team and wider office, Tara was involved with coordinating various marketing campaigns for large scale industrial sales in Auckland.

Tara was recognised as the recipient of the 2017 MVP Team Support Award due to the role she played in the success of the industrial team and Highbrook office.

As of July 2021, Tara has joined the Real Estate Management team as an assistant property manager focusing on a commercial property portfolio.

Jeremy Simpson

Jeremy joined Colliers International (Wellington Valuation) Limited in 2006 as a Senior Valuer. He was appointed Associate Director in 2011.  As of April 2014 Jeremy became a Director and Shareholder in the Wellington valuation franchise.  Jeremy undertakes all types of valuations of commercial and industrial properties around the Wellington Region.

With over 27 years in the valuation profession he is experienced in a wide range of valuation and consultancy work.  Initially involved in residential valuations, he is now focused on commercial & industrial properties including market valuations, rental reviews and insurance valuations.
 
Jeremy has gained specialist expertise in the valuation of self storage facilities, childcare centres and land subdivisions. He has also developed a strong knowledge of the Wellington Industrial market.

Richard Kirke

International Sales Director | Capital Markets

Richard is responsible for the promotion of New Zealand property to international investors, leveraging of his relationships developed in executive positions during his near 8 years in Hong Kong, as well as assisting to grow the company’s nationwide Rural and Agribusiness agency capability.

Richard began his real estate career in 2004 with CBRE, in the five years he spent with them (before leaving to run Colliers Hong Kong business in 2008) he was involved in many notable transactions including the sale of the Lion Nathan site in Newmarket for $162m, the sale of the GE & BNZ Britomart properties on behalf of Manson’s to the German fund HIH and portfolio sales, including the successful auctioning of 16 National Bank Branches across New Zealand.

During his time as MD of Colliers Hong Kong he was involved in the sale of 50 Connaught Road on behalf Apollo Group (a New York based Hedge Fund) to the Agricultural Bank of China for $US632m.

Richard was the Managing Director of Colliers Hong Kong office for six years from 2009-2014. During this time he was an active participant in several high value transactions and developed broad relationships with both Asian investors and colleagues across the region.

In late 2014, Richard agreed to run CBRE’s Asia Pacific Capital Market business, including their Capital Advisory (Real Estate Investment Banking) business, this further added to his knowledge of real estate investors, particularly in greater Asia.

As a senior executive of Colliers for 6 years in Hong Kong, Richard has strong personal relationships with Colliers personnel across the globe.

Ian has been a commercial real estate sales person since 1993, where he worked at City Commercial Real Estate for some 18 years before owning the company in 2012.

In 2014 the company was purchased by NAI Harcourts, where he worked for a further two years, before joining Colliers Hawkes Bay in January 2016, which has proved to be a positive move given the professionalism that is prevalent within Colliers Hawkes Bay. Ian’s previous work history was as a builder in the Hawkes Bay area.

Specialising in sales and leasing of commercial property in the Hastings, Havelock North area and with over 24 years’ experience, Ian has become a well-respected and knowledgeable sales consultant in the Hawkes Bay area. Ian has a commitment to do the right thing for both vendors/landlords and purchasers/tenants alike and always puts “ETHICS BEFORE DEALS”.

Ainsley Lewis

Ainsley began her career working in local government for the Auckland Council in Customer Services and City Planning, which has provided her with a sound understanding of how the city functions and operates. Ainsley has extensive experience in market research for both local business, governement  as well as international research companies such as Gallup and Pew Research. 

Ainsley spent 3 years leasing apartments in the Auckland CBD and city fringe areas gaining intimate knowledge of this market.   Ainsley  is excited to  build on this expertise in her role as Project Sales Consultant at Colliers.
