David has a strong Goverment/Corporate background having worked in the industry since 2004, working in Facilities related roles with Inland Revenue, Te Papa and CBRE where he was seconded into ANZ before joining Colliers International in April of 2015.
David leads Colliers International’s Wellington Strategic Advisory team. The team focuses on helping clients to make their big property decisions, particularly in the central and local government sector. Key areas of expertise include corporate real estate strategy, property investment strategy, feasibility studies, financial analysis, business cases and tenant representation.
David has worked for the past decade in the public sector, within the Treasury and as an advisor to a finance minister.
Prior to joining Colliers, David established and ran the Government Property Management Centre of Expertise, leading strategy and implementation of a portfolio approach to Corporate Real Estate in Government across its 1.6 million sqm commercial portfolio.
Prior to time in Government, David has worked in the property consultancy sector for Dow Group, Opus International, and Enrst & Young. After graduating, David spent time in both the Corporate Real Estate (Westpac) and Investment (AMP) sectors.
Working in the property industry since 2002, Jodi is a highly experienced Registered Valuer with a vast depth of knowledge. Based in Wānaka for two decades, Jodi started her career with Central Property, a practice she subsequently purchased. In 2015, Colliers opened its Wānaka valuation office, with Jodi one of the founding partners. Following a couple of years off to expand her family, Jodi’s now operating in a management and advisory capacity, providing cohesion, support and a robust review process to the Colliers Otago valuation team. The Colliers Otago valuation division operates across Queenstown, Wānaka, Dunedin and Cromwell.
My Colliers priorities focus on supporting the New Zealand network through the provision of research and thought leadership reports, articles and presentations. I draw on over 30 years of experience in the property market, gained in both the UK and New Zealand to my role enabling me to assist a broad range of clients and internal stakeholders. I am a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered surveyors. I am a regular presenter on current market conditions and future trends to the media, clients and various interest groups.
