Calum specializes in Industrial sales and leasing with the wider Hawke’s Bay & Taupo markets. His time has been spent gaining a strong hold of Napier Industrial areas - Onekawa, Pandora and Awatoto. Since joining Colliers, he can confidently state he’s brokered over 65% of all sales within Napier Industrial and been involved in the vast majority of the leasing activity. Calum is now well known within the Hawke’s Bay commercial market, having built a strong reputation built off a growing list on excellent results.

Over the 7 years prior to joining Colliers, his time was spent building a career within the Wine Industry, working for the likes of Sileni Estate, Villa Maria, NZ Wine Cellars, Asahi and Treasury Wines. After eventually ending up in Singapore with Asahi Beverages, Calum decided to return home to Hawke’s Bay with his young family and take on a new challenge within Commercial Property.

Since joining Colliers in 2019, Calum has quickly become a leading Industrial & Commercial broker within the Hawke’s Bay team. Having a standout year in 2019-2020, he was named Colliers Rookie of the Year. In September of 2021, Calum was awarded the REINZ National Commercial & Industrial Rising Star of the year award, given to the commercial broker who nationally achieved  the highest total commission within their first 24 months as a broker. Calum can now proudly state he has brokered over $50million in transactions. He has quickly become one of Hawke’s Bay’s top industrial specialists, with clients appreciating his ability to network effectively, as well as be cooperative and friendly. We shifted to Napier 4 year ago an set out to purchase commercial property in the area, agents did not seem to take me seriously until I meet Calum.  Calum remains calm in all situations and certainly isn’t pushy, while I quickly learnt he stays on the case and pursued various options until we had success.  Calum has proved to be attentive and has followed through well with the two properties we have now purchased with Calum’s help.
