Maud van Vlerken

Real Estate Advisor | Industrial & Logistics

Since January 2021 I have joined the Colliers Agency Industrial & Logistics team to advise in clients in leasing and to guide them in the process. I am working for Colliers since November 2013 in different roles. In my role as Advisor Industrial & Logistics I take with me the advanced experience I have as a research consultant in the logistics sector. The logistics market is becoming increasingly complex due to changing customer needs. Sustainability, functionality and efficiency are becoming more important. There is a growing demand for flexible leases and real estate investments. The requirements for business premises are increasing along with the need for customised concepts.

Would you like to move to a new building and do you need advice and guidance during this process? Or are you looking for a new tenant for your property? Whatever real estate challenges you face, we can help you find a solution that fits. Contact me at [email protected] or +31 6 20 24 47 20.

In November 2013 I started as Junior Valuer at Colliers Eindhoven, after finishing a MSc. in Urban Geography and a BBA in Real Estate.  In January 2016 I joined Research & Consultancy at Colliers Amsterdam. In this role I was responsible for research consultancy within the Dutch Industrial & Logistics team (since 2017) and the Dutch Healthcare team (since 2018).

From 2018-2020 I have been member of the Colliers Young Sounding Board. This internal advisory body for talents up to 35 years advises the board in the company strategy. I have also completed the Colliers Competence Talent Program 2019-2020.

Logistics market The Hague

Over a period of three years, the supply of industrial space in The Hague has fallen by half. By the end of 2018, only 54,000 square meters will still be available. This represents a vacancy rate of 2.5% and a level at which The Hague’s industrial property market can no longer function effectively.
