Colliers appoints new Managing Director of Office Services for Gujarat

Industry expert, Viren Mehta, joins Colliers as Managing Director, Office Services | Gujarat.

GURGAON, AUGUST 2, 2021 - Leading diversified professional services and investment management firm Colliers (NASDAQ and TSX: CIGI) today announced that Viren Mehta has been appointed as the Managing Director, Office Services | Gujarat, effective immediately.
Based in Ahmedabad, Mehta will focus on business development and invest in key client relationships to deliver enduring value to our clients, while growing Colliers' business initiatives in Gujarat.

Reporting into Ramesh Nair, Chief Executive Officer | India & Managing Director, Market Development | Asia, Mehta will collaborate with other Office Services and service line stakeholders across India to drive exceptional results and maximise the potential of property to accelerate the success of our clients and our people.

Mehta brings with him more than 23 years of experience in the real estate and banking industries, where he focused on growing and establishing new businesses, implementing end-to-end transactions, as well as leading operations to drive productivity and maximise revenue. He also has an expertise in conceptualising and implementing successful strategies to acquire new accounts.

Mehta joins Colliers from JLL India, where he was City in-charge  and Head of Transactions for Gujarat. Previously, he also assumed leadership roles at ING Vysya and Yes Bank, and took on various international assignments with the Equitorial Trust Bank in Nigeria.
