Colliers International launches new online tool to help businesses discover new workplace strategies

Workplace Expert helps businesses across the world plan the future of their workplaces

Leading diversified professional services and investment management company Colliers International announced the launch of a new online tool entitled Workplace Expert. Developed in response to changing work practices, the tool helps businesses take the first steps in shaping their future workplace strategy and creating an optimal work environment for their organization and people.

Workplace Expert recommends different office environments and configurations based on responses to questions about a business’ goals, working patterns and drivers behind their brand and operating culture. The tool is fueled by extensive benchmarking data, insights from Colliers’ global surveys during the COVID-19 pandemic and emerging market trends.

“Now, more than ever, the office is being acknowledged not just as a pure cost asset, but as a space with a vital role in connecting and empowering organization’s people to operate at their best in the next evolution of workplace experiences,” said Nuccia Basanić, Senior Consultant, Commercial Real Estate Advisory and Brokerage Services, alongside the global Colliers Workplace Advisory team. “Creating the right core work environment that is responsive to current challenges and future needs will be crucial for attracting and retaining talent, as well as enabling employees to perform and collaborate.”

Workplace Expert responds to inputs about organizational characteristics of each individual company, rather than recommending a solution based on a preference already indicated. As well as suggesting specific office environments, the tool recommends office sizing and the number of workstations and functional areas needed. 

Basanić added: “This tool offers a quick and easy way for organizations to explore the right strategy and find out more about the type of work environment that will help them accelerate success. We have the capability to develop more detailed solutions for clients with additional inputs such as occupancy and utilization data, employee working patterns, and employee questionnaire results.”

Nuccia is the Head of Occupier Services, and she is responsible for managing and executing lease and sale transactions and workplace advisory services for Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia & Herzegovina markets. Nuccia is focused on assuring a high level of service to clients across office, retail, and industrial & logistics markets. Together with her team, Nuccia provides tailor-made solutions with maximum dedication and commitment, leading to best-in-class results.

Nuccia was promoted to Junior Partner at the firm in 2022.

Nikola Arambasic

Head of Workplace Solutions and Project Management

Zagreb

Nikola joined Colliers in 2016 as a Workplace Solutions and Project Management Associate focused on providing support in the field of office and retail development projects. In 2021 Nikola was promoted to Head of Workplace Solutions and Project Management, and today his responsibilities are close cooperation with clients and external collaborators. He works on the preparation and execution of different projects, while he also mentors new team members.

Nikola graduated in 2014 with the highest honours of "sum of cum laude" and with one of the highest average grades in college history from the Faculty of Architecture. In addition to studying in Zagreb, he also attended summer school "AA School London".

Parallel to his studies he opened his architectural practice in 2013 which has grown to a team of nine architects who closely collaborate with Colliers’ office.

In 2016 he was awarded the title and trademark of an authorized architect as one of the youngest licensed architects in Chamber's history.

He managed over 180 projects, different typologies and uses. Apart from architectural and interior projects, he develops and conducts comprehensive project management from the first draft of the project to the occupancy.

The list of clients and associates includes many renowned companies such as Electrolux, Philips, Signify, UBAR, SAP, Bartec, Siemens and many key local entities.
