Cynthia Ng is an award-winning retail services veteran with more than 15 years’ experience.  Cynthia was educated in Sydney and holds a bachelor degree in Construction Economics (Quantity Surveying) from University of Technology, Sydney.  She started her career with major developers in Sydney and has spent the last 12 years in Hong Kong with global property agencies working across all key retail sectors and high-profile fashion, F&B and international FMCG brands.

As Executive Director and Head of Retail Services, Cynthia leads the successful operation of the retail brokerage business, meeting the needs of the company and her clients, while cultivating a team with the best leasing advisory and negotiating skills.

Prior to joining Colliers, she worked in CBRE as Director of Hong Kong Retail, with a key focus on international brands entering and expanding in Hong Kong. In 2015 she won the ‘Excellence in retail services’ award from CBRE, recognising her achievements in business.

Cynthia has a distinguished track record in signing flagship leases on first  tier high streets as well as  grade A shopping malls.  Cynthis is also involved in high street shop investment, retail consultancy and landlord rep projects.  One of Cynthia’s most notable recent accomplishments includes the sale and purchase of a ground floor shop on D'aguilar St at HKD183 million where she represented both sides (Mr Lai Wing To and Dr KS Lo) respectively.  Cynthia also won the retail consultancy project for the Central Market in Central where she leveraged her retail expertise and provided optimal leasing solutions on the project including leading market trends advisory, target tenant mix, layout design, customers analysis, technical requirements and rental indications.

Cynthia has a strong reputaton for signing flagship leases with international brands in core retail districts.  She helped Don Don Donki, a large F&B conglomerate group from Japan to take up a 19,000 sq. ft. duplex at the most sought-after location at 100 Queen’s Road Central and the entire first floor of 29,000 sq. ft. at Monterey, a brand new development by Phoenix Properties in O’South.  Cynthia has also brought Stock X from United States to enter HK opening its first shop with K11.  She has concluded the initial new lease and an early successful renewal for Daniel Wellington, a watch brand from Sweden at the popular corner flagship space on Russell Street in Causeway Bay.

Cynthia's great experience in bringing first-time entrants to Hong Kong has also built a strong loyalty with her clients where she has conducted multiple repeated business with. She helped Major League Baseball (under FnF; the second largest listed group in Korea) acquiring its first flagship duplex at Henderson’s H Queen’s on Queen’s Road Central, as well as a second duplex store in the heart of Mong Kok. On top of this, she completed the pre-lease for Bo Concept’s anchor shop in Hysan’s Lee Garden Three, OnTheList in Central, four shop leases concluded for Orogold Cosmetics as well as Elevatione Cosmetics signed in Times Square and Harbour City.
