New Head of London Capital Markets joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate
Following the announcement last month that Colliers has restructured its London Offices team to focus on the West End and City markets, Colliers has announced the appointment of Simon Glenn as Head of London Capital Markets.
Simon joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate where he was Head of London Markets, and prior to that full Partner of Strutt & Parker. With 25 years’ experience specialising in London capital markets, acting for a wide range of clients, Simon has recently managed the sales of 71 Victoria Street for ASI and the sale of Random House, Vauxhall Bridge Road for Penguin Random House / Bertelsmann.
“I am excited to be able to announce this strategic hire as part of our planned restructure, further cementing our commitment to investing and growing our transactional business across London,” said Tony Horrell, Colliers’ CEO UK & Ireland. “Simon will oversee the strategic growth of our Capital Markets offering across the London market, working closely with Head of International Capital Markets, Andrew Thomas and harnessing the expertise of our established teams in the City and West End as we continue to identify and access opportunities to accelerate the growth of our clients.”
Simon Glenn added: “As we emerge from lockdown, there is greater anticipation in the air as people start returning to the office and investors obtain the ability to travel again. I look forward to leading the Colliers Capital Markets team and guiding clients through this period of rediscovery in what remains one of the most reputable and internationally-renowned business destinations in the world.”
Colliers intends to announce additional hires across London over the coming weeks.
