Simon Pickford

Simon is a Director and Chartered Building Surveyor with over 20 years industry experience in the Building and Project Consultancy sector.  

He has had overall responsibility for the building surveying team across the UK, focusing on generating new business, nurturing client relationships and closely managing the quality of departmental output.

Simon has extensive experience in complex building surveying due diligence work. Aligned to this, his knowledge of large and difficult project management schemes allows him to ensure the client is getting the best possible commercial advice on all instructions.

Simon was one of the Founding Directors of Paragon Building Consultancy in 2009.  

Prior to this, he was employed by Chisholm Nurser & Partners where he became an Associate Director.

He is an expert in all Building Surveying disciplines and provides Project Management services to a wide variety of commercial clients, including pension funds, banks, property companies and developers.

Simon has delivered Project Management and Contract Administration development and refurbishment schemes ranging from £100k to £52m.  He has also managed large technical due diligence portfolio instructions for purchasers and vendors across the UK and more recently across Europe.
