Phil has a wealth of experience of Local Government Revenues & Benefits gained over 30 years for a number of authorities in the midlands and south east. This has covered; Rates, Community Charge, Council Tax, Business Rates and Housing Benefits. Added to this there have been spells working in the private sector either as a training officer (both Revenues & Benefits) or as a provider of outsourced Revenues & Benefits services to a local authority.

In addition, Phil is a member of the Institute of Revenues, Rating & Valuation serving on the National Council from 2008 - 2015, is a Past-President of the Thames Valley Association and more recently Treasurer of that organisation.

Education

Phil has passed Technician IRRV examinations both in Revenues & Benefits disciplines. In addition he is a qualified Management Coach through the Institute of Leadership & Management.
